Journey from 1990 to 2019:

• The M. Hashim Memorial Trust-(MHMT) was established and registered with the Government of Sindh in 1990 to serve humanity and determined to serve the community by offering free complete cancer treatment to the underprivileged cancer patients. We are providing consultation surgical treatment or biopsy, stereotactic radio-surgery & radio-therapy and chemotherapy.

• Neurospinal & Cancer Care Institute-NCCI was started from 10 beds and Alhamdulillah after re-functioning under the management of the Trust we extend the hospital capacity up to 50 beds hospital comprises of male, female and children 25 beds new cancer ward with Emergency room, High Dependency Unit-HDU, ICU, laboratory facilities. Our aim is to run a state-of-the-art Mini cancer hospital with every treatment services under one roof and having all infrastructure & basic diagnostic facilities for cancer: under the umbrella of the Trust has been taken a step against cancer.

Re-Functioning of The Trust:

• The Hospital is now re-functioning under the umbrella of the M.Hashim Memorial Trust from April 2015 and providing free treatment to poor & needy cancer patients which has been subjected on availability of funds and more patients have been able to avail the opportunity to be treated by the world's most advanced technology free but we need more funds to treat them and save their lives as the workload of patients increases day by day and patients approaches from all over Pakistan and also from abroad.

Annual Budget:

• The Annual projected budget for 2018-19 is Rs.100 Million.

Patients Flow:

• Nowadays more than 500 out patients visiting NCCI daily and around 1550 patients in Synergy-S and 1680 in Gamma knife are registered and around 2265 patients avail services of PET CT Scan.

Zakat Campaign:

• In Zakat campaign we approached all Individual donors, Businessmen, Ambassadors, Corporate sector, SITE Associations, Pharmaceutical Companies, Doctors, Engineers, Well wishers and we appreciate them and thankful to all who support us in this campaign and hope will continue in future.

• Alhamdulillah we have been treating needy cancer patients from April-2015 through Zakat funds.

Achievements:

• We arranged sponsor a cancer patients sponsorships.

• We organized Hepatitis B vaccination program for staff members successfully.

• We arranged Free Cancer Consultation Clinic during the month of Ramzan.

• The big achievement of this year is the hospital has now its own Ambulance for patients and we are very thankful to the donor who donate for a noble cause.

• Volunteers are a great resource for any NGO. We have large number of volunteers registered including students, house-wives, working personal and are expanding their week days with needy cancer patients every month. They work in connection with our Fundraising and Social Welfare Department.
