Dr. Azhar Rashid has received his training in Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SRS/SBRT) from the leading radiosurgery institutes in Germany, Czech Republic and Japan. He is an expert in the usage of modern radiotherapy techniques like

IMRT: Intensity Modulated Radio Therapy.
VMAT: Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy-Introduced in Pakistan by him.
SRS: Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
SRBT: Stereotactic Body Radio Therapy.

Doctor Azhar Rashid

Dr. Azhar Rashid is one of the leading radiation oncologists in the country and has a vast experience in his field. He has been associated with NCCI since 2008 and during his tenure he has treated over a 1000 cases in both SRS and SRBT.
He has to his name numerous articles and publications and is also an active member of multiple national and international radiosurgery and radiation oncology related organizations. He is a certified trainer in the radiation oncology discipline from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan.
