Dr. Shahid Kamal has had an illustrious career in the field of Nuclear Medicine. He was initially associated with the Atomic Energy Medical Center (AEMC), first as a consultant and then as director of the institute for many years, before becoming director of Karachi Institute of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine (KIRAN). Post retirement he has been associated with NCCI as Director Nuclear Medicine and
Molecular Imaging.

Professor Shahid Kamal

Over the years Dr. Kamal has amassed vast experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine and is one of the principal reporting physicians of the PET-CT at NCCI as well. We are fortunate to have him on board as a full time clinical faculty.
Dr. Shahid Kamal has over a 100 publications and presentations to his credit. He is also an examiner for the FCPS in Nuclear Medicine at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan and for the degree of MD in Nuclear Medicine at Ziauddin Medical University.
